Dr. Sharaf obtained her medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) and Health Sciences. She completed a residency at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in general medicine, with an emphasis on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Naturopathic Oncology.

Before becoming a naturopathic physician, Dr. Sharaf obtained a B.S. in Nutrition Science, with additional training in Medical Nutrition Therapy. Dr. Sharaf utilizes medical nutrition therapy to assess the metabolic and nutritional demands of the disease process itself, as well as the stresses that can often occur with conventional therapies. This makes her uniquely qualified to provide personalized naturopathic treatment regimens, with specific attention to providing nutritional support throughout cancer care.
